A bit about your role:

Based in Albany but covering the wider Auckland region, we are looking for an Apprentice Water Service Person to join our Auckland Water team. If you are interested in learning about the water industry, performing planned work & at times reactive work including drainage, working in and around hydro dams, meter replacement, subdivision connections and much more, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

A bit about you;

To be successful in this role you will ideally have had some hands on construction/drainage experience or a genuine passion in learning the water industry and will also bring with you:
  • Achieved NZEA Level 2 or higher
  • Full Drivers licence (must have), Class 2 & RTW endorsements an advantage
  • Ability to communicate and work in a team
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills, being able to operate and input data into a mobile field device
  • Experience in dealing with the public
  • Strong focus on Health and Safety
  • Self-motivated, energetic, proactive and results orientated
  • Reliable, with a great attitude
