Based in Taupo, Waikato we're looking for our next Renewals Team Lead! You will essentially be accountable for the planning and delivery of all aspects of the end-to-end renewal process. From annual plan approval and prioritisation through to delivery, including quality assurance to post construction reporting, ensuring they run efficiently and deliver the optimum outcomes and responsible for leading your team

About the role
Your role is working within the Central Waikato region across the NZTA Contract. As our Renewals Team Lead, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the development and implementation of the programme for end-to-end renewal delivery and ensuring all those contributing to and/or affected by the process are aware of and have input to the programme.
• Monitoring and reporting progress against the programme, identifying variances, reporting these to ensure effective cost management
• Maintaining an active working relationship with all parties contributing to the programme.
• Ensuring health and safety of work teams and members of the public.
• Leading a successful Renewals Team to deliver annual plan programme

Skills and experience
You will have demonstrated experience with project management and renewal activities, and will be able to demonstrate clear understanding of engineering and construction processes. We'd also value:

• 3-5 years' experience managing teams and customer relationships
• Experience in minor structural civil engineering and / or road pavement construction
• Adaptive communication skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels
• The ability to develop positive relationships with, and obtain co-operation from client, internal and external delivery teams
