Downer Street lighting is a leading provider of end-to-end services, providing and delivering physical works for street light maintenance, renewal activities, construction and project associated services. In Auckland, we manage all matters relating to the maintenance and renewal activities within the street light network from Auckland central CBD through to the south end of Auckland, which covers more than half of the street lighting assets of Auckland.

About the role

Our Auckland based team is on the hunt for their next Data and Operations Analyst. In this role, you will assist the Technical and Delivery Manager with analysing the achievement of performance metrics and identifying variances. You will also be responsible for

• Analysing data as recorded by delivery teams.
• Ensuring the QA processes and methods are reviewed and updated as required.
• Assists with the reporting of Key Result Areas and Key Performance Measures.
• Ensuring that appropriate quality management processes and systems are in place for all activities.
• Completing quality audits on active and recently completed work.

About you

We need someone to hit the ground running, so ideally you will have:

• Good understanding of work methodologies, quality processes with attention to detail
• Capable of analysing data and turning it into information
• Proven management experience with responsibility and accountability for staff, plant and return on investment
• Proven track record in developing a culture that supports SQE management, encouraging and rewarding excellence
• Strong interest in Safety and Quality
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A strong track record of positive leadership behaviours that empower others
• Ability to think outside the square and be open to new ideas
• Desirable to hold a tertiary qualification or equivalent in engineering or business management or equivalent experience

Experience in the Streetlighting industry is also an advantage.
