Senior Contract and Procurement Specialist - Americas Projects

12 month contract

Work Location: Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

Joining the Contracts and Procurement team at FFI, you will be responsible in supporting contracts function for FFI, assisting the management of contract execution, delivery and close out for key contracts and procurement for FFI's major renewables projects in the America region.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to category specialists
  • Provide reports, analysis and advice to support procurement decision-making
  • Identify and evaluate key risks at a contract formation and seek input from other functions as appropriate (e.g. technical, legal etc.)
  • Maintain and update procurement records and generate reports on procurement and contract activity to meet organisational compliance requirements and provide access to procurement information
  • Contract administration to support execution, including correspondence and contract notices and claims assessment

Qualifications and skills required:

  • +5 years' experience in Contracts within major projects and/or energy industries (renewable energy experience desirable)
  • Bachelor degree in commerce, business, law, or construction desirable
  • Spanish / Portuguese language skills highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple package
  • Good attention to detail
  • Understands the importance of stakeholder relationships and can engage effectively with engineers, legal, quality management, project controls and logistics to co-ordinate and ensure contractual delivery parameters are met
