About the jobs:
As a Driver Operator for one of the largest infrastructure business in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, predominantly the operation of heavy machinery. If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your day's outdoors, this could be the next move for you!

Our crew supports the local maintenance contract which consists of road rehabs, stabilised patches, asphalt dig outs and other maintenance work. These are generally Monday - Friday roles, with occasional overtime and weekend work requested.

Class 4 Operator - As a core member of the crew, you will primarily be responsible for driving an Asphalt Flocon Paving Truck, as well as other plant such as rollers and small excavators from time to time

Class 5 Operator - Equally as important, you will be responsible for operating our truck and trailers to transport equipment and cart materials to and from our sites.

About you:
With experience operating civil machinery under your belt, you will be confident operating within a team and independently as required. You will be comfortable using machinery and hand tools to get the job done. You'll also:

• Be reliable and hard working
• Display a Zero Harm attitude and follow procedures to a tee
• Have a positive 'can do' attitude
• Have a Class 4 or 5 license with WTR endorsement
• Be flexible to pick up occasional weekend work and on-call shifts
