Position summary
Due to recent growth within our Infrastructure Projects business unit we are now seeking to engage the expertise of an experienced Senior Project Engineer for works in Queensland. You will be responsible for the effective planning and coordination of Civil infrastructure projects, in accordance with set timeframes, cost, quality, safety and environmental objectives though all phases of the project.

Furthermore, this position would suit an ambitious SPE who is looking at developing their career with the potential to eventually move into the position of Project Manager.

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering with significant experience within Road Construction with Main Roads (TMR) experience and/or experience working with rail operators in Qld.
• Must have RPEQ qualifications
• Significant relevant experience, with structures, bridges, pavements, drainage, earthworks & reinforced soil structures
• Sound knowledge of current project methodologies, including risk management, project evaluation, cost measurement and analysis
• Queensland Rail Qualifications - RIW, WET, SARC desirable
• Excellent organisation, time management and decision-making skills
• Excellent people and leadership skills
• Strong cost management techniques
• An innovative, motivated 'thinker' with personal drive and commitment
• Tendering and estimating experience in the civil infrastructure industry
• Willingness to work 15/6 or 10/4 Roster (subject to project)
