About the Client
A world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of mineral processing solutions and associated machinery serving the mining, quarrying and recycling industries. Our client is looking for a trade qualified mechanical fitter/tuner for a workshop role based in Narangba.
This position has a lucrative pay package on offer for this opportunity. Will be well suited to a tradesmen who is seeking to earn a high weekly income $$$ as you will be working up to 60 hours per week
What you will be doing
You will be working Monday to Friday in the clients warehouse based in Narangba completing the below duties.
  • Provide specialist input to repair (in conjunction with other trades as required) and manufacture parts for machinery and industrial plant.
  • Assist with the repair or fabrication of specialized equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
  • Perform fault finding, diagnosis, design, assembly and manufacture on site to support the operation of machinery

What you will need
  • Relative trade qualification and experience as a Fitter Turner
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience in the Fitter and Turner trade
  • Lathe and milling experience
  • Experience in fault finding and repair of machinery
  • Reliable transport
  • A strong work ethic and solid safety attitude
  • Your own basic tools and PPE
