Job Description
Kinross is looking for a summer student who is highly motivated to learn, grow and be a part of the Treasury Department during the summer of 2022.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Treasury team with existing global projects
- Create detailed presentations, work with financial models and develop reports as required
- Preparation of banking and compliance documentation
- Assist with the opening and closing of bank accounts
- Assist with the Treasury Management System maintenance and analysis
- Assist with correlation analysis (across various asset classes)
- Assist with cash flow forecasting analysis and reporting
- Assist with internal/external audit requirements
Education and Experience
- 3rd or 4th year in Business Finance or related field
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Cooperative team player and can work independently
- Demonstrate a high level of autonomy, flexibility and organization skills
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of operations and senior management
- Excellent time management skills and able to meet deadlines
- Computer/technical skills - MS Excel, MS Office and Powerpoint
- Prior knowledge of Bloomberg will be considered an asset
