A company on the rise thanks to a very prosperous couple of years of growth through key hires is currently looking for an Underground Technical Services Superintendent for their HQ and key asset.

 

This Residential role, based in the USA, will be for the whole family and will be geared towards someone that loves to supervise, achieve and mentor whilst still flexing their technical muscles. Some of the key criteria of this include:

 

  • Provide timely pillar extraction and backfill plans to production
  • Lead or participate in projects, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, budget development and tracking, and project reporting and tracking
  • 10+ years experience in mine engineering and capital project management
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Strongly recommended - Operations supervisory experience - >3 years
  • Underground mining industry experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geological Tech Engineering or related field
  • Delegate assignments to engineering team to facilitate goal completion and skills development for the team members Coach and develop employees to maximise performance, development, and retention of employees
  • Provide technical consultation on potential projects, infrastructure of mining operations, mining methods, ventilation, pumping, or production issues
  • Prepare reserve reports and other relevant reporting directly or by delegation
  • Review current mining operations and investigate other methods to improve efficiency in mine operations.
