THE ROLE
We are seeking for a Long Term Shutdown Planner - Electrical for the Shutdown Management - Long Term Planning Department to provide technical expertise ensuring that Lihir fixed plant maintenance shutdowns are planned effectively.
FEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE (but not limited to such)
•Reviewing and screening of work requests, prioritisation, confirmation of job scope including
safety hazards and determination of required level of planning for assigned areas of responsibility.
•Planning work using the CMMS & SAP software by populating the work order with clear written job instructions, details & procedures.
•Determining and updating the estimates for resource type, resource hours, materials, and Work Order in collaboration with the task requestor or supervisor.
•Coordinating the day-to-day planning and scheduling for the Asset Management maintenance program.
•Maintaining a long-term planning and scheduling strategy.
•Seeking cost reduction opportunities
ESSENTIAL CRITERIAS
Qualification
•Electrical Engineering diploma, Electrical Trade or similar
Knowledge and Experience
•5+ years relevant work experience in Fixed Plant Maintenance Planning and Scheduling in heavy industry, preferably Minerals Processing but can consider Oil and Gas experience.
•Strong experience in Maintenance Planning
Technical Capabilities
•Skilled in the use of CMMS & SAP software to manage the day to day planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
•Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, & MS Project.
•Able to interpret Engineering drawings, OEM manuals, and standards.
DESIRABLE/ ADVANTAGEOUS CRITERIAS
Qualification
•Post trade/tertiary qualifications in maintenance management
•Formal Maintenance Planning qualification
Knowledge and Experience
•Experience in Supervisory Training and Experience
•Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills (for national upskilling)
MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be willing to do a FIFO role based in Lihir
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Ability to obtain a Police Clearance
