About The Role

We are looking for a Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure safe maintenance and operation of the existing physical assets such as Pielstick diesel engines, compressors, lube oil purifiers, compressors, cooling towers, fuel circuits. This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual looking excel in their field.

Working a 7 days on, 7 off roster and reporting to the Supervisor of the Power Station, you will be:
  • Maintaining 5 x 5.1 low speed Mw V12 Pielstick Marine Diesel Engines & a 2MW Cummins QSK78 engine
  • Maintenance of Alfa Laval lube oil purifiers & ancillary equipment.
  • Compressor House Compare screw compressors for plant & instrument air site fuel reticulation including tanks, pumps meters & associated pipework
  • Looking for continuous improvement opportunities whilst ensuring a safe work environment

About You

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
  • Diesel Fitter or Mechanical Engineering Trade Certificate
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing Marine diesel engines
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment
  • An Australian C Class manual driver's license or higher
