We are looking for a Project Lead to deliver the development, implementation and transition of a fit for purpose global Learning Management System, that will support an integrated onboarding and ongoing learning delivery model and meets the needs of our Iron Ore business. Your role will lead the initiative from concept to delivery including developing and managing project scopes, plans, budgets, resources, change management, communication and stakeholders, plans, work packages, milestones, and project reporting.

Reporting to the Manager, Business Partner, Central Services - Capability Development, you'll play an important role through quality project and change management and stakeholder engagement with project specific technical capability. You will:
  • Manage and coordinate co-design phase activities including documenting requirements, current state analysis, future state analysis, prioritisation, and user centric experience mapping
  • Manage data extraction, cleansing, migration and archiving
  • Manage and/or coordinate detailed design, user case development, testing, UAT and cascaded rollout across business units
  • Develop BAU user support/education model, vendor agreements, licensing and post go live support and maintenance

In addition, this role will maintain a focus on continuous improvement opportunities by evaluating technology and learning solutions, and supporting capability uplift initiatives.

What you'll bring

You'll have demonstrated experience across both project management and learning management systems, with the ability to operate at both a tactical/operational and strategic level concurrently to ensure the solution is relevant "on-the-ground" but also fits the overall strategic intent of learning.

We're looking for someone with strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience in managing internal communication and messaging coupled with demonstrated experience in delivering through others in a matrix organisational structure without formal authority.

From a project and change management perspective, you're experienced in agile methodologies design thinking, persona led journeys, have experience developing use cases in conjunction with strong understanding of learning (business) processes with experience managing change within large complex organisations.
