The Kinross Corporate Head Office is located in downtown Toronto and supports Kinross' operations and projects worldwide. Corporate functions include Finance, Procurement, Health & Safety, Human Resources, IT, Investor Relations, Exploration, Geology and Mine Planning, among others.

Job Description

This person will work on entry-level mine-related tasks while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross' values.

Job Responsibilities

  • ServiceNow administrative and developmental tasks as assigned by the IT Governance group
  • Author, review, and approve Knowledgebase articles and IT technical documents
  • Provide training & support for the ServiceNow platform and provide guidance regarding process related questions
  • Generate and distribute metric reports and administrative management of dashboards
  • Support the implementation of new or enhanced IT processes


Education and Experience

  • 2nd or 3rd year Computer Science or Engineering student at an accredited college or university
  • CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation will be considered a great asset.


Skills

  • Interest in process design, change and implementation
  • Very people friendly and open-minded
  • Able to work with all levels of corporate and regional users
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in application development & technical documentation
  • The successful candidate will be interacting with all levels of management and as such, a high degree of professionalism is required.
