About this role
The Senior Analyst, Investor Relations, is accountable for supporting the Investor Relations Strategy and Benchmarking efforts, which includes:
- Support of investor outreach function
- Pro-active analysis of industry and market trends
- Development of internal and external messaging materials
In this role you will
Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:
- We develop high-quality materials for quarterly earnings and other investor engagement (press releases, presentations, executive responses to investor questions, etc.) and address comments from executive partners.
- We participate in high-exposure events, representing Newmont at company-sponsored analyst-shareholder meetings, investor and analyst meetings, marketing road shows, investor conferences and analyst seminars and site visits.
- We support shareholder targeting and improve overall capabilities of Investor Relations outreach function.
- We provide details of target investors, including history of holding gold investments, funds led, relationships with broader market, etc.
- We generate reports on retail investor base and changes throughout the year.
- We lead and maintain Investor Relations Tools and Financial Models and provide data requests to the Investor Relations team, ELT and FLT.
- We pro-actively review and summarize relevant equity, economic and commodity market research for the Investor Relations team, ELT and FLT.
- We fulfill investor-specific data requests and lead ad-hoc projects for the Investor Relations team, ELT and FLT.
- We engage with other departments at Newmont to ensure consistent messaging and understanding of relevant topics in the organization.
- We assist with the preparation of the Investor Relations budget and develop tracking and year-round reporting.

Your training, skills an experience checklist
Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or related field.
- Investment banking or buy-side analyst experienced preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in business analysis with a strong background in finance and capital markets.
- Validated experience in mining, construction, utilities or other heavy is helpful.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of finance, capital markets coupled with the ability to articulate concepts to others.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
- Ability to work and succeed in a fast-paced, changing environment with a multitude of variant tasks and changing priorities.
- Validated strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical skills with programs such as Word/Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Capital IQ and other related programs.
- Financial modeling experience preferred.
