Role Details:

Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Production, you will facilitate the safe and optimal extraction of gold from underground mining operations. In compliance with site standards, you will be responsible for all mining aspects including the development and implementation of production plans in line with short to medium-term planning targets.

This role is offered on an 8 days on / 6 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth.

Duties of the role:
  • Be organized and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks by the Supervisor
  • Development and implementation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans in line with operational targets Demonstration
  • Ensure that stope designs and subsequent drill and blast plans maximise ore extraction and minimise dilution
  • Direct and lead all members of the technical and operational mining team and ensure goal unity through concise communication
  • Apprising the Underground Manager of issues that may affect safe and efficient production through frequent communication in an appropriate manner


About you:
You will:
  • Have a BEng degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
  • has underground hard rock engineering experience, preferably gold
  • Be team orientated
  • Have a sound understanding of machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Current Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights card
