WesTrac are looking for a highly experienced Account Manager’s to join our growing Sales team.

Reporting to the Mining Business Manager, these individuals will be responsible for the effective day-to-day Account Management of designated Customers, ensuring the execution of the Sales Mining Strategy. They are also responsible for Capital, Parts and Service sales as well as contract negotiations. The Account Manager works closely with the Customer Support Manager to ensure seamless customer services and support is provided.

The ideal applicant will possess exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, sound business acumen and demonstrated influencing abilities. Our mining department are an integral link to our customers and to achieve our vision of being the customer’s first choice in equipment solutions and we are searching for passionate, high performing and driven people.

About the Role:

• Work closely with customer contract and supply teams to negotiate contacts and agreements for the sale of capital, parts and service
• Develop quotes for machine sales and have input into machine inventory ordering decisions
• Work closely with the Dealer and Caterpillar Machine Product Managers to promote Caterpillar Equipment
• Maintain successful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor parts and service sales performance and take appropriate actions where required
• Ensure WesTrac delivers on the promise of lowest total cost of ownership with the right technical and application advice
• Act as escalation point between customer and Fleet Maintenance team with fleet machine recommendation and escalation as required

To be successful the following is required:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification with post trade experience – highly desirable
• Previous experience within an Asset Management role, ideally within the mining industry
• Experience within and Account Management role or Customer Support role
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to negotiate and problem solve
• Solid relevant industry experience ideally Caterpillar Parts & Service – desirable
• Sound commercial experience within the mining product support industry – desirable

These are permanent opportunities based at our Customer Support Centre located in South Guildford with intermittent travel as required.
