Role Details:

Reporting to the Superintendent: Technology Projects, you will provide detailed technical first line support and administration of critical mine production systems and digital (IT/OT) infrastructure.

This is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off roster and is FIFO from Perth.

Duties of the role:
  • Assist in the effective control of production-related hardware and software solutions
  • Digital (IT/OT) Service Management -
  • Provide administration and management of mine production system vendor service level agreements
  • Support and maintain operational applications, also be involved in the design, testing, and improvement of applications that form part of the mine production system and operations centre
  • Monitor and control the health of the vital business functions with the operations centre (bandwidth, servers, tablets, LTE, On-board telemetry, switches)
  • Incident/Event Management - Work with IT functions to ensure business continuity plans are in place and effective
  • Information Security Management - Work with IT functions to ensure all relevant security policies, standards, and procedures are adhered to including ISO27001, IEC62443
  • Knowledge Management - Participation in the definition and maintenance of process manuals for all processes


About You:

You will have:
  • Recognised qualifications in Auto Electrical/Communications or Information Technology
  • Experience or willingness to learn mine SCADA & PLC
  • Prior experience in an underground mining environment
  • Valid Manual Driver's license
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
