Position summary
Downer is a leading provider of end-to-end Technology & Communications service solutions & offers integrated civil construction, electrical, fibre, copper & radio network deployment capability.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in the Lang Pde, Milton, QLD office 12 month Fixed Term Contract. You will take ownership of coordinating and overseeing office operations and support a range of management stakeholders across a portfolio of projects within the Technology & Communications Services business . Key result areas encompass aligning to Downer's Values, Administration, Accounts, Process Improvement and Zero Harm.

We are looking for a full-time resource who is an excellent multi-tasker, can manage conflicting priorities, likes a challenge and genuinely enjoys working with others. You will be versatile and willing to learn outside your comfort zone combined with a strong and persistent approach to resolving problems at a detailed level to meet project requirements.

ABOUT YOU
  • Proven project administration experience in a large project team within a large organisation
  • Experience in Telecommunications or Construction business or similar type industry is desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Email software, Power Point, SharePoint and Visio
  • Ability to generate reports from disparate data sets
  • Ability to perform all duties with high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload particularly as the team are based in different locations
  • Proven ability to organise and prioritise tasks is proactive with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform & contribute within a team environment
  • Flexibility within role being able to adjust to any given task or situation
