Our Utilities division is continuing its success by driving innovation and change management which has resulted in new career opportunities becoming available within the Australian natural gas sector that we deliver within. These opportunities have been created to transform and grow Downer's capability within this market. Downer will lead the introduction of more efficient training, planning and work practices across CAPEX and OPEX cycles to ultimately improve our productivity, operational and employee performance.

Critical to our success with supporting our clients in delivery will depend upon identifying experienced and capable resources that are willing to go above and beyond in order to succeed. With this in mind, we have a unique opportunity available for a Gas Industry Trainer and Assessor to be based at our Derrimut, VIC office.

ABOUT YOU

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent recognition.
• Minimum five years Gas Industry related experience.
• Relevant Gas vocational qualifications.
• Training experience (current Cert IV Training & Assessment preferred but not essential*).
• Able to arrange, deliver and co-ordinate courses required for all Gas units.
• Understanding of auditing in compliance with certification.
• Knowledge of competency-based training.
• Proven skills in communication and problem solving.
• Ability to meet established deadlines.
• Demonstrated commitment to, and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety, Quality Management and Environmental principles.
• Demonstrate commitment to Downer's "Zero Harm" including the client's systems.
