About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Life of Mine Planner within their Communities and Communications department based out of Perth. In this role you will be responsible for Life of Mine Planning across the delivery of Communities and Social Performance deliverables for Iron Ore development and closure studies. This contract is due to run for one year based out of our client's head office in Perth CBD.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project scheduling/ budgeting.
  • Preparation of consultation materials.
  • Provision of advice to other parts of the business regarding Communities and Social Performance.
  • Leading or supporting consultation with Traditional Owners and stakeholders.
  • Reporting on engagement outcomes.
  • Undertaking Social and Economic Impact Assessments and formulating corresponding Social Impact Management Plans .
  • Work closely with multiple departments in the business across Studies, Mine Planning, Communities, Heritage, Closure, Approvals and Hydrology/Hydrogeology.
Key skills and Experience
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence all relevant parties across the business.
  • Previous experience working in Mine Closure, Mine Planning or Approvals.
  • Traditional Owner agreements.
  • Understanding of mine planning processes.
  • Technical background in Hydrology or Hydrogeology.
