Reporting to the Product Owner, the Technical BA is responsible for bridging the gaps between business and technology by aligning project partners and translating business needs into robust Azure Cloud-based solutions. They are directly responsible for process analysis and implementing digital solutions that improve performance efficiency. This role requires hands-on analysis with excellent customer service and communication skills to develop positive relationships with clients, solution architects, developers, and external partners.

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Perform research using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis
• Coordinate data analysis, User Acceptance Tests, generate dashboards and reports, monitor critical metrics, and deliver support as required
• Evaluate and select the best commercial software and technology solutions
• Develop solution documentation and host webinars for training, updates, and solution roll outs to end users with varied backgrounds
• Identify issues and propose resolutions, advancing to appropriate personnel as needed
• Evaluate information gathered from various sources, reconcile differences, and translate high-level information
• Develop business cases and Proof-of-Concept for addressing business improvement initiatives

• Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a technical diploma with a combination of relevant experience
• 6+ years of demonstrated ability in delivering solutions and relevant business analysis
• Demonstrated expertise with Azure Dev Ops, SharePoint and Confluence
• Experience in Mining Operations, Operational Excellence, or Industrial Maintenance practices would be an asset
• Understanding of change management practices; experience implementing within a project environment would be an asset
• Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle in the areas of requirements gathering, prioritization, quality assurance, user training, and task management strategies
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement demeanor
• Ability to effectively collaborate with others, including individuals from both technology and operations, at all levels of an organization
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Working level Spanish would be an asset
