Expressions of interest – Employment Opportunities – Séguéla Operations, Côte D’Ivoire

Roxgold, a West African subsidiary of Fortuna Silver Mines is currently in the construction phase of their Séguéla Gold Mine, located in Côte D’Ivoire.

In September 2021 Fortuna made the decision to proceed with the construction of the open pit gold mine at Séguéla. Construction and preproduction activities are now progressing rapidly. long lead items have been procured and project teams are commencing work on the ground. A mining contractor has been selected and awarded the mining production contract and they are expected to mobilse to site in the final quarter of this year. Séguéla will become Fortuna’s fifth mine with the first gold pour projected by mid-2023. The mine has compelling economics, with a nine year mine life in reserves with potential for further growth. The initial six years are expected to report 130,000 ounces of gold production annually. With the total initial capital investment of $173.5 million, the anticipated construction schedule is approximately 20 months and ramp-up to name plate capacity of 3,750 tpd is expected in the third quarter of 2023.

We will, therefore, over the coming months be looking to recruit a number of senior operational personnel for the pre-production and ongoing operational phases of this project.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates should demonstrate relevant experience in the position for which applying, as well as a significant track record in open pit hard rock operations, CIL processing and tailings management.

It is intended that expat personnel will be employed on a six week on, three week off roster with accommodation provided in a modern camp on the mine site.
