Position summary
An exciting 9 Month Fixed Term Contract has become available within the BSC for a Payroll Reporting Analyst. This role has become available due to the incumbent stepping into a secondment opportunity. This position can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

This position involves introducing and supporting change and optimisation for the benefit of our businesses and internal customers. The purpose of the BSC Payroll Systems Reporting Analyst is to deliver accurate, reliable and timely information. This role is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the business reporting systems and conducting insightful analysis which supports decision making across all functions.

THE ROLE
Reporting into the Payroll Systems Reporting Lead your position as Payroll Systems Reporting Analyst will be responsible for although not limited to:
  • Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of labour utilisation in the business by providing proactive insightful payroll reporting.
  • Improving the efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of the BSC payroll team through provision of relevant system information.
  • Preparing regular reports to drive understanding and decision making
  • Working with management to implement new reporting methods across the business
  • Working with management to reduce reliance on reporting through payroll and moving towards self-service
  • Effectively implementing change initiatives
  • Using analyses methodologies to solve problems and using all available information
  • Modifying or developing reporting with the relevant HRMS systems
  • Documentation of business reporting requirements
  • Facilitating and managing own workload with minimal supervision.


ABOUT YOU
  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or IT
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong Payroll systems experience
  • Experience with process performance reporting
  • Shared services experience or experience in large volume / complex organisations
  • Strong analytical, Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Experience in ExpressHR highly regarded
  • SQL, SAP and/or Oracle payroll experience preferred although not essential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Collaboration and Collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in large ERP software with JD Edwards and SAP
  • Strong Microsoft applications skills (including Excel, Word and Outlook) and Power BI
