Our client: 

Seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for a three-month contract with an ongoing three-month extension to help support growth plans for this underground base metal producer. 


Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be proficient in mine planning with strong experience in underground operations.

• Supervise and complete Stope Design Reviews and Plan of Intents primarily for the mid- and long-term planning designs
  

• Review and optimisation of mid- and long-term plans.
  
• Effective communication with the Mining Technical Services team and all relevant support staff
  

About you: 

You will possess advanced technical knowledge in the key Technical Services.

• Minimum 7+ years' experience in underground mining
  

• Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering 
  
• Competent in mine planning software - Deswik
