Our client is seeking a Technical Services Superintendent for a Copper restart at an iconic operation in Western Australia. Recent upgrades to infrastructure and facilities have enabled an extended mine life to 10 years providing the ideal person longevity in the role. Projected production rate of 25,000 tonne of copper cathode through a re-engineered open pit & processing operation.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will provide effective leadership and guidance to the Technical Services Team.


Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Management - Adherence and execution of Safe Work Procedures
• Planning Engineering - weekly, monthly, and quarterly budget and scheduling
• D&B Engineering - design, management, and QAReporting
• Development and maintenance of MOS
• Surveying - Auditing, controls, and reporting
• People management - Development of team through coaching and ongoing leadership.

We require a degree qualified Mining Engineer, together with an URQM certificate, together with an extensive experience base within a larger scale open pit mining operation. You will similarly have a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role where team leadership and communication skills were essential for success.
