This if FIFO expat role in West Africa + very attractive $$ pay and good roster
French and English speaker would be very welcome
Key areas in this role to include - provide strong change management leadership in order to reinforce the site integration of the mechanical maintenance.
- Provide leadership to the Maintenance Teams to meet mobile plant availability and reliability.
- Participate in new projects arising in maintenance department
- Support the execution of Projects
- Identifies the need for change to deliver on operational objectives; supports, drives and monitors change initiatives Ensures optimal maintenance Engineering strategies are implemented and executed for all mechanical fixed plant and workshop activities
- Assist the Departmental Superintendent in engineering studies and projects to improve fixed plant performance, operability and reliability.
- Designing and engineering solutions to in the plant in CAD
About you:
- Mechanical Maintenance experience ideally in the mine
- Projects and Operations experience
- Bachelor Degree - Mechanical or HND
- Substantial exposure to resource planning and business / project management
- A natural relationship builder who collaborates to build and sustain enduring relationships
- Proven leadership skills, coaching and mentoring teams
- High-level negotiation and influencing skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment
