• Supportive team of LV, Instrumentation and Control Systems Design Engineers working across the Water, Waste Treatment, Battery Storage, Renewable Energy and wider industrial sectors
• Experience opportunities and resources to develop into a Lead Engineer
• Brisbane-based location working on National Projects

Downer is a leading Australian service provider company that designs, constructs, operates and maintains wastewater treatment plants, recycled water plants, potable water treatment plants and other Urban Utilities and Renewable Energies sector infrastructure.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role is to produce control system and network engineering deliverables and be responsible for the concept designs, implementation and commissioning of control system projects. You will gain exposure to state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary digital engineering design as well as field work in commissioning large infrastructure projects.

ABOUT YOU

• Professional Engineering Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
• RPEQ or ability to register.
• Ideally CPEng and Membership of Engineers Australia.
• Proven experience with Industrial Plant Operations, Maintenance and Design of systems and drives and equipment for industrial plants.
• Demonstrated experience with Control System and Communications Architecture Specification, Detail Design and Project Execution. Knowledge of Process Instrumentation and interface with Low Voltage power supply and enclosures.
• Must be flexible and keen to learn and prepared to spend time working in the field.

The assignment is as an autonomous senior team member and mentor to junior engineers, based in Brisbane supporting Downer projects and operations around Australia. Some short-term interstate assignments may also be undertaken during this time.
