The EDI Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and summarizing high volumes of data and making it readily available and useful for our leadership team. They will conduct research into industry trends and the current state of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives with the goal of optimally communicating to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with our marketing, value delivery and legal teams to communicate diversity metrics for RFP’s. Primarily, they will be responsible for gathering EDI data from across the organization through regular surveys and reports and analyzing and interpreting the results to provide management with applicative recommendations.

Responsibilities:
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Procure training & services
  • Planning logistics & communication & events
  • Run further smaller scale deeps dive focus groups
  • Train the trainer – deliver more sessions of basic training
  • Mentor & drive EDI ideas
  • Start, Structure & sustain – ERGs
  • Help to report back on survey findings & address findings in succeeding stages
  • Be the liaison between various Teck EDI committees and working groups
  • Define and formalize EDI maturity model
  • Help build surveys, key reporting indicators around survey findings and plan next steps to address the findings aligned with maturity model
  • Help lead the change with various leaders and their teams
  • Help with communication with both the front-line leadership and sponsoring leaders
  • Organize large amounts of data into concise and robust summaries, by using and creating dashboards and other reporting tools for leadership and partners.
  • Research industry trends and current state related to diversity, equity, and inclusion and effectively communicate results with leadership to ensure that company goals align with or exceed industry standards.
  • Communicate effectively, cross functionally with teams including the company’s diversity leaders, human resources, and global finance to provide key statistical data, as requested.
  • Coordinate with marketing and client value teams and attorneys to provide diversity metrics for RFPs. Identify and implement process improvements to facilitate client and firm reporting and to give leadership more visibility on how their team is contributing to the companies EDI goals.
  • Manage the process for delivering regular EDI reports and surveys along with analyzing and interpreting the data to make recommendations to management.
  • Build PowerPoint presentations and other reports for internal management and to assist in discussions.
  • Adopt standard methodologies in data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation.

  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving ability are also required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Should have the ability to view business issues in perspective, follow-up on projects/assignments and be able to prioritize and participate in multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency using office tools for analyzing and presenting data
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills are required to build and maintain effective relationships with team.
