Our client, an industrial mineral company with operations in west Texas, USA, has engaged Lincoln Strategic to help them recruit a Manager, Conveyors to oversee the build and startup of one of a kind overland conveyor in West Texas. This is a multifaceted, high impact and strategically critical role, and a rare chance to create from the ground floor.

Responsibilities :
  • Drive the build, commissioning, and maintenance of this new transport delivery system.
  • Manage the construction, commissioning, and startup of overland conveyors
  • Review the designs for new conveyor construction to make sure it is built in a maintainable fashion
  • Build the Maintenance, Operations and support departments
  • Manage project progress reports, schedules, risks, costs, logistics, resources and technical objectives required to meet stakeholder's expectations and corporate financial goals
  • Organize and conduct maintainability and constructability reviews with all major stakeholders prior to project execution
  • Project management ensuring projects are executed in full compliance with all regulatory requirements of the OSHA and MSHA
  • Ensure construction permits are in place in compliance with local regulations
  • Manage all efforts related but not limited to earthworks, concrete and structural works, steel erection, piping, electrical distribution, instrumentation and DCS, equipment installation, commissioning and startup
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong technical and leadership experience
  • Ability to read, understand and redline drawings and schematics
  • Procurement and warehouse experience
  • Extensive experience operating and maintaining conveyor systems,
  • Solid experience managing fixed and mobile equipment maintenance crews
  • Experience in equipment reliability and condition monitoring
  • Must be able to live and work in the USA.
