About this role

What you will be responsible for?

Providing analytical and consulting support for executive compensation plan design and implementation, assisting in the preparation of the Leadership Development and Compensation Committee (LDCC) of the Board of Directors materials and annual proxy filings, and providing compensation consulting support. Provide operational support for promotions, retention actions, market pricing, etc.

Your role will consist of:

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

• We support material development and reporting for the Leadership Development and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team.
• We coordinate the annual development of the compensation data and tables for the Compensation Discussion and Analysis (CDA) section of the Proxy; serves as a core team member for the Proxy.
• We partner closely with corporate reporting, financial reporting, and legal to ensure accurate reporting of all internal (e.g., SOX) and external regulatory reporting and requirements.
• We prepare the quarterly and year-end reporting/tracking for the long-term incentive (LTIP) programs.
• We provide insight, analysis, and market benchmarking in support of our executive compensation programs to resolve competitiveness of these programs and advocate program design.
• We support executive job analysis and evaluations to resolve grading and compensation targets for executive positions.
• We prepare compensation analyses and provide mentorship related to off-cycle executive compensation adjustments, promotions, and new hire offers; prepares off-cycle compensation statements.
• We coordinate share-pool key performance indicators (e.g., dilution, burn rate).
• We conduct and complete executive and incentive compensation market surveys; continually reviews and adjusts survey job matches.
• We may serve as ad-hoc contributor to global compensation projects including job architecture, survey benchmarking, global salary structure design and implementation, job evaluation and job descriptions.

Your training, skills, and experience checklist

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Finance, or Legal.

Experience:
Minimum of three years of corporate experience in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Finance, Legal, or related role. Preferred five or more years of experience in a related field analyzing, implementing, and administering initiatives and business process.

Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge and experience in understanding business, financial, and statistical analyses.
• Preferred experience and understanding of total rewards philosophies and systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects.
• High degree of confidentiality.
• Effective written and oral communications.

Working conditions and location

Where you will be located!

• The preferred location is the Denver corporate office with a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote work. Qualified candidates outside the Denver area are also encouraged to apply.
• Flexible hours to accommodate global meetings and predictable periods of peak work periods (e.g., Proxy development in Q1).
• Position may be required to travel and assist other domestic and international sites (5% of the time).

The salary range offered for this role is $ 85,520 - 112,245 . The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate's salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
