UG Operations Manager / Alt GM

Leading global precious metals producer requires experienced Underground Operations Manager, in a newly created role; to manage multiple underground operations in production; and others, currently in development, as they come online.

The UG Operations Manager will also deputise for the GM, performing an acting Alternate function to the GM, in periods of absence. While acting for the GM, the Underground Operations Manager will also assume responsibility for surface operations and processing. The intention, in the fullness of time, is that the successful candidate will provide a succession plan to the GM role..

Each operation has a highly competent Underground Mine Manager, who will report to the Underground Operations Manager.

This is a WA based role and can be worked on a FIFO ex Perth, or residential basis.

Subsequently I am very interested to hear from either experienced Underground Operations Managers who are ready for their next step towards a GM role; OR Senior Underground Engineers, who currently manage multiple underground operations, who are ready for their next step into a Operations Management role. I would also be interested to hear from current GM's, who may currently manage small / singular operations, who are ready to take a step up to managing multiple underground assets.

My client will also fully relocate the successful candidate, and their families internationally, with full visas provided.
