Salary Details: $90,000-$95,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Relocation

The opportunity: We are looking for a talented Site EHS Lead for an open pit mining and processing plant operation, this site has between 100-150 employees working there. You will be responsible for the entire operation health & safety leadership, ensuring staff and contractors perform day to day duties to the high standards set by the company.

You will ensure the company Health, Safety & Environment strategy is followed, MSHA regulatory commitments are met and provide the site leadership and operational staff with advice and coaching in all matters relating to EHS on the site.

Core responsibilities:

• Implementation of site EHS programs, systems, policies, procedures
• Near misses, MSHA, OSHA, accidents, incident investigation
• Environmental monitoring
• Support with MSHA, OSHA, DOT inspections
• Deliver H&S training programs
• H&S Auditing
• Budgets
• Workers compensation
• Site Emergency management
• Industrial hygiene program

Key Requirements:

• Experience leading Health & Safety in a Mining / Aggregates / Building Materials environment
• MSHA, OSHA, EPA Regulatory experience
• Qualified with an OHS related degree
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Proven leader, collaborator, influencer
