We are seeking an engaging, safety focused Electrical Statutory Supervisor to join our team based at Cape Lambert.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to draw on your people leadership skills, coupled with your technical knowledge to effectively coordinate execution of work. You will have a strong safety leadership focus to ensure the reliability and sustainability of assets across our Operation.

This role is a great opportunity to showcase your influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Working a 5/5/4 Residential roster and reporting to the Superintendent Operations CLB you will be:
  • Technical and Statutory support to existing team structures
  • Co-ordinate and implement Statutory Maintenance systems to ensure compliance with all relevant Legislation
  • Execute the duties of the "Appointed Electrical Supervisor" as detailed under MSIR Section 5.11 and RTIO Supervisor Guidelines

To be considered for this role you will require the following:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Mining or similar Heavy Industry
  • Electrical Workers License endorsed Electrician or Electrical Mechanic or Electrical Engineering qualifications acceptable for professional engineer membership of the IEA
  • Willingness to be endorsed as a site Nominee for the RTIO In-House License
  • Willingness to be endorsed as "Appointed Electrical Supervisor" and undertake the assigned duties as per MSIR 5.11
  • Willingness to work out of rostered hours (where required) to full fill Statutory Obligations
  • Ability to actively develop networks and engage with employees, management and external customers to provide open and courteous lines of communication.
  • Proficient in RTIO work management systems
  • Ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute required strategies to ensure safety, compliance and productivity of Electrical Teams.
  • Ability to plan, co-ordinate and execute required strategies to assist with Electrical Asset Integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to comply with HSEQ policies, procedures and initiatives (e.g. CRM, FV, VS, C2)

Previous experience in a similar role or as an Electrical Contractor or Nominee would be a considered advantage

Where you'll be living

The successful candidate will be required to reside in Wickham, Point Samson or Roebourne.

Our port facilities consist of four shipping terminals located on the Pilbara coast at Dampier and Cape Lambert which form an essential part of our logistics process. Each terminal has facilities for train unloading, iron ore stockpiling, product blending and ship loading.
