An international mining consulting company is dramatically growing their presence across their offices in North America and working on a strategic hire for a Mining Consultant (Intermediate/Senior). This individual can either be assigned in Vancouver or Toronto.
One of the reasons why this company has been successful for many years is because of the caliber of people they have who represents their business towards their clients and partners. Individuals who are polished, independent minded, strong business acumen and able to present themselves with senior level clients will be highly considered.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering.
-Registered P.Eng or equivalent
-5-10 years of combined experience working in mining consulting, engineering or operations.
-Open pit and/or underground project background in Gold, Copper, Silver, Nickel, etc
-QP experience under NI43-101.
-Ability to be involved in mining studies (Scoping, Pre-feasibility & Feasibility).
-Experience in the following Mine Planning Software: Deswik or Datamine.
-Strong client interface and presentation skills.
-Exceptional communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
