Responsibilities:

•Assist the Maintenance and Operations groups with safety and regulatory compliance by evaluating engineering and design of related mechanical systems, new or in use.

•Provide field support and instruction, as well as potential solutions, to production staff and various contractors as projects progress.

•Management of predictive and preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment integrity and to minimize downtime.

•Complete cost reduction improvements through utilization of lean manufacturing techniques, available technology, and work processes.

•Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

•Valid, current driver's license (SEMO)

•Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanical engineer

•Minimum 3 years of implementing predictive maintenance techniques (BRRD)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Drafting (AutoCAD), Budgeting (Adaptive), I-Series, and Purchasing (PeopleSoft)

•Knowledge of maintenance reliability systems

•Knowledge of Pyro and Hydro Metallurgical process (BRRD)
