About the Role

WorkPac currently has a position available for an experienced Automotive Electrician at Rio Tinto site Brockman 4.

Reporting to the site's Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will conduct maintenance and fault diagnostics on electrical and air conditioning systems, either in the field or workshop on the fleet of heavy mobile equipment below
  • P it V iper 271 drill rigs
  • D65 Drill rig
  • SK SS Drills
  • Hitachi diggers/ s hovels
  • CAT D10, D11 Dozers

You will also inspect and determine equipment condition and assess its suitability to return to service.
Skills and experience
  • Relevant Australian recognised trade certification
  • 2 + years post trade experience in a similar role
  • Refrigeration Licence
  • Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)
