NEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and Downer, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver two projects (Yanchep Rail Extension and Thornlie-Cockburn Link) as part of METRONET.

As a Procurement Officer based in Bibra Lake reporting to the Lead Procurement Advisor some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare, issue and evaluate tenders and quotes for a range of goods and services
• Negotiate contract arrangements with tenderers to ensure best value is achieved
• Establish and rationalize agreements with key suppliers and subcontractors
• Establish, monitor and maintain effective contract and supplier databases
• Provide accurate, comprehensive and timely reports to management
• Continuously seek ways to improve efficiencies and value for money

ABOUT YOU

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or similar
• Experience in procurement, tendering and/or contract management will be highly regarded
• Experience in the Construction Industry
• Exceptional contract negotiation and communication skills
• Demonstrated skill and experience in developing and maintaining organizational procurement processes
  • Understanding of contract and trade practices law, as well as competitive tendering policies
