Our client builds and operates energy reactors that deliver green base-load power serving a variety of industries, commissioning over 20 power plants and managing over $3 billion in refurbs.

To meet the growing demand for their business and to help manage their corporate expansion they have partnered with Lincoln Strategic to recruit a Chief Financial Officer. This is a *very* hands on role responsible for all our client's financial functions/actions including cash flow tracking, financial planning & reporting as well as analyzing their financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions. This role will also play a critical part in our clients IPO in late 2022/early 2023.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tactical and strategic management of the accounting and finance functions
  • Establish and direct accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of our financial information
  • Manage relationship with independent auditors
  • Oversee financial systems implementations and upgrades
  • Manage relationships with investors and investment institutions
  • Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements
  • Hire, train and retain skilled accounting and finance staff
  • Help to position/prepare for IPO issuance.
Skills And Qualifications
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills, including an ability to work well with our client's CEO, COO, board members and other senior managers.
  • 15 years of experience in accounting or finance, including a minimum of ten years in a management role.
  • MBA plus CPA designation.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, ASPE and GAAP.
  • Experience in public accounting
  • A history of holding positions of increasing responsibility within an accounting department, such as director of finance, director of accounting or controller.
  • Experience with successfully executing IPOs.
