Dynamic Earth Solutions (DES) specializes in site planning, spatial information and digital terrain modeling, surface and subsurface investigations, rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory services, flood forecasting and water resource management through our geotechnical, hydrotechnical, and civil site development expertise.

Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Civil Designer to join our Dynamic Earth Solutions group in Montreal.

As the successful candidate, you will:

• Perform 3D modeling using CAD software of dams and retaining structures such as dykes and earthfill dams
• Produce drawings from 3D models according to project procedures and standards and customer expectations
• Coordinate drawing execution with other disciplines
• Estimate quantities for the preparation of the estimations
• Manage the drawings on the various project servers

You bring to the role:

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience;
• ASP Construction card required;
• Competent with the AutoCad Civil 3D software
• Familiarity with MicroStation InRoads / OpenRoads and ProjectWise software (an asset)
• Be familiar with geolocation systems
• Be able to adapt to different customers
• Be bilingual: French and English, both oral and written (an asset)
