Expressions of Interest -Land Access, Environment and Project Approvals
Work Location: Perth or Brisbane
Roster: Monday - Friday
Due to rapid growth, we are seeking experienced Land Access, Environment and Project Approvals professionals at various levels to support the development of FFI's portfolio of renewable projects. These roles will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders within a matrix organisation across multiple disciplines.

Due to rapid growth, we are seeking experienced Land Access, Environment and Project Approvals professionals at various levels to support the development of FFI's portfolio of renewable projects. These roles will be responsible for working with a range of stakeholders within a matrix organisation across multiple disciplines.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Engage the Project Development and Delivery teams to problem solve and identify opportunities to advance the project's on-ground activities to meet project schedule
- Provide expert advice and strategy related to land access, environmental, and/or overall approval requirements
- Manage work undertaken by consultancies and coordinate the exchange of information between the consultancy, project team and internal approvals subject matter experts
- Assist Project team resolve land access, environmental and project approval related issues when confronted with unforeseen project scope change
- Lead the development and implementation of the Project approvals schedule
- Assist in the critique and development of approvals strategies that meet business objectives
- Prepare documentation for internal sign off, including Fortescue Communications for any external presentation
- Ensure that all applicable approvals requirements are identified and specifically communicated to personnel
- Maintain and foster a working environment which promotes safety in all that we do
Qualifications and skills required:
- Previous experience in a Land Access, Environment or Project Approvals role, ideally for major projects
- Co-ordination and project management experience with respect to land access, environment or project approvals required to develop major projects in Australia
- Hold relationships with relevant government bodies, consultancies and other third parties
- Ability to liaise and influence at all levels
- A can-do attitude, with demonstrated ability to take initiative and act proactively
- Excellent written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
