We are currently seeking an experienced SMP Superintendent to join our Facilities Asset Services business for an upcoming Major Outage, this role is based on-site in the Kwinana Industrial Area.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high performing project teams to expertly delivery the execution of works on a complex multi-discipline shutdown; with a major focus on Welding and SMP packages.

We are interested in your experience in the Power and Energy sector and have a preference for a trade background in Boilermaking / Special Class Pipe welding / Boiler Tube Welding.

You will be an accomplished safety leader, excellent communicator and have a strong customer focus, with experience leading project execution.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in the Power & Energy Sector
• 5+ years of experience in site leadership; Superintendent / Site Manager
• Preferred trade background in Welding
• Preferred experience in Boiler Tube Repairs / Outages
• Previous experience on maintenance and shutdown projects in a similar role is essential;
• Strong HSEQ focus and leadership capability;
• Knowledge and ability to engage in the Schedule and provide direction / support to the Scheduler.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills; and
• Effective written and oral communications skills.
