About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will define and lead Business Analysis activities across a large portfolio. This includes mentoring, guiding and growing team capabilities, implementing methods, processes and frameworks for a quality management and experience with Waterfall, Agile and DevOps. You will play a hands-on role in delivering technical and functional requirements, whilst liaising with key stakeholders to develop a solid understanding of how the business is currently operating and its future goals.

Reporting to the Capability Lead (Business Analysis) you will be working in a collaborative and exciting environment within our Information Technology PMO teams.

As the Senior Business Analyst you will:
  • Play a senior role in the Business Analysis team, leading and expanding the capabilities of team members responsible for the evaluation, definition and documentation of project requirements, ensuring objectives and deliverables are clearly articulated.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and guidelines relating to the documentation/ development of project artefacts and procurement.
  • Work with various portfolio teams and lead stakeholder engagement activities to define project objectives.
  • Understand the outcomes required by the business, facilitate workshops and document business and technical requirements.
  • Actively take part in improving and building out the business analysis capability of the PMO team

What you'll bring:
  • A number of years in a similar Senior Business Analyst role, working in cross-functional (and virtual) teams with the ability to nurture and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, change management, negotiation and communication skills including the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels and manage 3rd party vendors.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering technical and functional documentation, leading stakeholder workshops in Waterfall, Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Appropriate industry qualifications with experience across Business Analysis and Change Management frameworks.
  • Experience in requirements workshop facilitation using different methods including user centric design tools and approaches.
