Supervisor - Concentrator Maintenance
About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor - Concentrator Maintenance to be responsible for leading maintenance crews to coordinate shift activities safely and cost effectively deliver production and maintenance targets. You will coordinate shift activities with Operations to ensure daily production targets are met or exceeded. This includes effectively executing planned and scheduled work as well as breakdown repairs to enhance equipment availability and reliability. The role is based in Labrador City, NL

What you'll bring
  • Strong safety mindset and willingness to enforce safety protocols and procedures
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role of multidisciplinary trades
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience
  • Hold a Journeyperson Trade Certification or Mechanical Engineering Degree or Certification
  • Strong safety focus and willingness to enforce safety protocols and procedures
  • Strong work management execution history
  • Strong leadership experience and great communication skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications.

  • The Iron Ore Company of Canada (IOC) is a leading Canadian producer of iron ore concentrate and iron ore pellets that serves customers worldwide. The company operates a mine, a concentrator and a pelletizing plant in Labrador City, Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as port facilities in Sept-a les, Quebec. It also operates a 418 kilometer railroad that links the mine to the port.
