About the job

We are looking for a Construction Coordinator to work closely with and in support of the Project Team and Owners Team. This role will report to the Team Project Manager and be responsible for:
  • Oversight and coordination of project work activities assigned.
  • Execution of planning and integration with operations
  • Oversite of Project Contractors and work to be accomplished
  • Proper permitting for project assignments
  • Quality assurance
  • Coordination of Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
  • Coordination for day-to-day work scope between various contractor teams and active operations
  • Management of project daily reports and all associated documentation
  • Ensure successful and safe execution of projects through detailed planning and execution of scopes of work in compliance with the following RTKC HSE standards and programs, RTKC Contractor Management standards, RTKC Permitting processes, Construction Contract scope, schedule and cost and engineering and design specifications and quality
  • Support the project team in the development and execution of Contractor Management documentation, Scope of Work documents, Project Execution Plan documents, Quality Assurance/Commissioning Execution Plan, forms, documentation, and schedules

What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • General Construction Experience,
  • Industrial Experience, civil, mechanical, structural, electrical

It will also be beneficial if you have:
  • Experience with operational personnel coordination
  • Experience with cross-functional team management
  • Critical Risk Management and practices
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills - incident management
  • Quality assurance, pre-commissioning, and commissioning experience a plus
  • High level of schedule development and management experience
  • Word processing, Spreadsheet Management, Email management (Microsoft products)
