Who we're looking for:

Join our Information Technology team based at our Cadia site. Reporting to the Superintendent Technology you will work with IT suppliers and deliver IT services at Cadia Valley Operations (CVO) that will provide strong business benefit and enable our plant to be operated and maintained into the future.

Key deliverables include, but are not limited to:
  • Ensure site IT service delivery alignment with IT strategies, plans, and standards
  • Perform day-to-day IT service
  • Performing on-call services as per team rosters
  • Assist the successful delivery of IT projects
  • Assist the effective transition of IT services into production environments
  • Ensure the reliable and secure operation of IT systems and applications
  • Seek to improve the delivery of IT services


As the ideal candidate, you will have proven skills and experience having worked in a complex, diverse and distributed IT operations environment according to ITIL best practices.

In addition, you will also have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT discipline or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience of service delivery to a large mine site with a firm understanding of ITIL version 3 processes and best practice
  • Experience working within an outsourced operational environment
  • Mining industry experience in an operational capacity
  • Experience with Windows desktop operating systems
  • Networking (Cisco Routing / Switching)
