We are seeking an eager Road Maintenance General Workers to join our high performing Auckland Penrose Transport team, to provide support to all our operations across the Auckland region. You will be based out of the Downer Auckland Great South Road depot.

You'll form part of our road a great Downer family-orientated maintenance crew, who work hard but have fun. You will be expected to be involved with planning, organising, and safe delivery of activities to ensure that work is completed to the satisfaction of our customers.

About you:

You will hold the following skills and attributes.

• Strong safety and quality focus
• Previous experience in a construction or road maintenance role (preferred)
• Knowledge of road maintenance and procedures
• Experienced and licensed in the use of road maintenance plant and equipment
• Minimum Class 2 Drivers Licence with WTR endorsements ideally
• High standard of workmanship
• Excellent communication skills
