Role Details

Reporting to the Recruitment Superintendent, the Aboriginal Recruitment Advisor, as a demonstration of our ongoing commitment to engage with our local Aboriginal Communities, this role will execute the employment and attraction strategy of the Company by recruiting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates across the Gold Fields Operations.

The role will be based in the Perth Office, with regular travel to our sites and is offered on a Full Time, or Part Time basis with Flexible Working Arrangements available to the successful candidate.

Duties of the role:
  • Produce effective targeted advertising materials and using suitable sourcing channels to attract Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates;
  • Sourcing, selecting and placing Indigenous candidates into a range of roles as allocated by the sites;
  • Review applications for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and submit a suitable shortlist in a timely manner.
  • Managing the end to end recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and coordinating Assessment Centers as required;
  • Providing a high-quality recruitment service to all departments, including liaising with the Site HR Teams and providing advice and support to Hiring Managers as required; and,
  • Develop and maintain a network and talent pool of quality candidates for future business needs.


About you:

You will have:
  • A minimum of 1-3 years in a recruitment role with experience in Professional and Blue-Collar (Operator and Trades) recruitment;
  • Previous experience coordinating Bulk Interview days or Assessment Centers;
  • Knowledge of equipment and mining processes would be advantageous to your application; and,
  • Previous experience with SuccessFactors is not essential, but would be highly regarded.
