About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist for a position with our leading mining client based in Brisbane.

Our client is currently developing an exciting program with a focus on women in leadership within the mining industry and are looking for a skilled HR/Learning and Development Specialist to assist with the final stages of the project delivery. The successful candidate will come from a mining background and will provide support in terms of development plans, delivering on systems, onboarding as designing tools and processes that support the program. This is a 4 to 6 month role depending on project role out working full time Monday to Friday at our Client's Brisbane CBD office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist with designing and delivering on all of the systems, tools and processes that support the program
  
• Assist with development plans, mentoring information, leadership coaching, onboarding, safety and technical learning components
  
• Work with various stakeholders and departments and provide effective stakeholder management with the ability to deliver a high quality product in terms of the materials produced
  

Requirements for the role:

• HR or learning and development background (or similar)
  
• Must have prior experience working within the mining industry
  
• Prior experience with implementing new projects, programs and business development plans
  
• Must hold good communication skills with internal stakeholders and customers
  
• Must hold full working rights in Australia
