Job Details
An international operator is currently looking to bolster their revitalised Geology team by hiring a Chief Geologist for their team at this Tier-1 operation in LATAM.
This role will be residential and full relocation will be given to a good-sized city. The roster from the city to site can be discussed during interview but it is favourable to family life.
The main requirements for the role can be reduced to a core number of specialisations listed below:
- Production experience, with a proven ability to effectively incorporate geological information at the scale of operations (+5 years)
- Experience in Sulfidation Deposits
- Managing a team giving mentoring where required
- Experience in mapping and logging activities including sample collection, data validation, and geological interpretations
- Experience in Vulcan
- Experience in Leapfrog
- Experience in acQuire
- Experience in gold & porphyry (having work for projects in Chile will be a plus)
- English & Spanish
