Position summary
Downer is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to join our Power & Energy project team based in Roma, Queensland on an established ongoing project. The perfect opportunity to bring your previous experience in a stores or logistics role to contribute to the efficient running of our stores. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide effective logistics support to the site team with tasks and duties including, but not limited to:
  • Generating purchase orders, managing registers, reconcile delivery dockets
  • Inventory stocktake and order management
  • Coordinate and track deliveries of goods to sites
  • Daily Forklift Operations
  • Follow up on outstanding Vendor orders


ABOUT YOU
  • Hold a Forklift ticket and CERT III in Warehouse operations or equivalent, with proven experience
  • Proactive and motivated individual with demonstrated attention to detail in data entry, systems and reports
  • Methodical approach to following processes and procedures and an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Adaptable and team focused
  • Proficient computer skills with intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact constructively with a variety of stakeholders
